Worksheet OEM Denied

The manufacturer has denied the consumers worksheet. The provincial administrator will need to review and make a final decision.

  • Select the claim number or the Worksheet OEM Denied button

There are a number options for handling the denial, select the appropriate one.

WS OEM Denied Change Status

  • Worksheet Approved: All the necessary information is available and the worksheet is ready to collect claim form from the consumer.
    • A manual letter should be sent to consumer requesting that they complete the claim form.
  • Closed Worksheet Ineligible: Based upon the review of the information provided the worksheet is considered ineligible and the claim will be closed.
    • A manual letter should be sent to the consumer and manufacturer indicating that the claim has been closed and why.
  • Worksheet Consumer Input Required: The worksheet requires additional information from the consumer. The PA should contact the consumer by phone to obtain the additional information.
  • Closed Withdrawn: The consumer has decided they would no longer like to proceed with the claim.
    • A manual letter should be sent to consumer and manufacturer informing them that the claim has been closed and the reason why it was closed.

Provide additional notes as you see fit and save the status change. Please use caution when recording notes as all parties have access to this function. Status Notes

   NOTE: Once the status change has been made it cannot be altered.
