When a worksheet is approved an provincial administrator needs to assign an arbitrator to the claim.

Assign an Arbitrator

As a PA you will need to assign an arbitrator to the claim.

  • Select worksheet approved.

Worksheet Approved

A list of available arbitrators will be made available. It will show their name, the number of hearings they have arbitrated, the area they serve and contact information.

  • Select the assign button next to the arbitrator you would like used for this claim.

Assign Arbitrator

Next Status

The claim will be moved into Claim Form Requested status, whereby you will be waiting a response from the consumer.

Letter(s)

  • An automated letter will be sent to consumer requesting that they complete the claim package and return it withing 60 days. The arbitrator's resume will be included in the claim package.
  • If the consumer has indicated that they wish to correspond by mail, a manual letter with the required claim package documents should be sent to consumer.

Change Arbitrator

Sometimes, it is also necessary to change the arbitrator.
