Worksheet Sent to OEM

A consumer has submitted a qualification worksheet and a provincial administrator has reviewed it and sent it to you the manufacturer for your review.

  • Select the Claim Number
  • Review the qualification worksheet.
NOTE: You are unable to make any changes to the qualification worksheet.
  • You may print the qualification worksheet by selecting Print.
  • There are 2 options for handling the worksheet, select the appropriate one Deny Claim Eligibility or Worksheet Approved:

  • Deny Claim Eligibility: You have reviewed all the information and decided that the worksheet is not eligible. A PA will review your decision and confirm the information you have provided with the consumer. If the consumer does not meet the CAMVAP eligibility requirements the PA will close the claim. If The PA believes that eligibility must be determined by an arbitrator, an eligibility hearing will be scheduled.
  • Worksheet Approved: You have reviewed all the information and decided that the worksheet is good to move to the next step. A PA will review your decision and assign the claim to an arbitrator.

Deny Claim Eligibility

When the Deny Claim Eligibility button is selected, the following screen below will appear.

  • If the reason for denying the claim is not available in the Reason Type selection box, enter the reasons for denial in Comments box.
  • Document your denial reasons and upload this along with your supporting documents here.
  • You may also upload these documents afterwards by selecting the Hearing Defense button.

  • Provide additional notes as you see fit and save the status change.
  • Please exercise caution when recording notes as the Arbitrator and Provincial Administrator have reading access to the notes function.

Status Notes

NOTE: Once the status change has been made it cannot be altered by you.

Worksheet no OEM Response

If you do not provide a response within 5 business days, the qualification worksheet will be considered overdue and the claim status will be set to Worksheet No OEM Response.

Letter(s)

  • An automated reminder letter will be forwarded to the manufacturer when the QW is overdue.
