The arbitrator is responsible for conducting the hearing and providing a decision to the PA by uploading their report in the system.
The system will show:
The system is now ready for the arbitrator to provide their decision. You will upload a decision document. You are not able to provide that document until after the hearing is schedule. If for some reason, you held the meeting a few hours earlier the system will not be ready until after the scheduled time.
In order to provide your decision:
Now it is submitted the claim moves onto Award PA Review, whereby the provincial administrator will review decisions and close the claim accordingly.
As an arbitrator you have decided that another hearing is required to make a decision.
You MUST ensure you DO NOT upload a document first. If you do, the provincial administrator will receive notification that this hearing process is complete and requires their review.
To notify the provincial administrator they need to schedule another hearing:
The claim will be moved back to Schedule Award Hearing for the provincial administrator to schedule a hearing.
If the decision has not been received within 14 days, the system will consider the Award Decision Overdue.
