This is an old revision of the document!

Eligibility Hearing Scheduled & Eligibility Awaiting Decision

The arbitrator is responsible for conducting the hearing and providing a decision to the PA by uploading their report in the system.

The system will show:

  • Eligibility Hearing Scheduled the day of the hearing and 3 hours after the meetings was scheduled
    • For ex. The hearing is scheduled for 1 pm. The status of the claim will not change to Eligibility Awaiting Decision until 4 pm
  • Eligibility Awaiting Decision 3 hours after the hearing was scheduled

The system is now ready for the arbitrator to provide their decision. You will upload a decision document. You are not able to provide that document until after the hearing is schedule. If for some reason, you held the meeting a few hours earlier the system will not be ready until after the scheduled time.

NOTE: Once the file is uploaded and saved the claim will be moved onto the next status. You are only able to upload 1 document.

  • Select the button
  • Upload the necessary document and save
  • Now it is submitted the claim moves onto Eligibility PA Review

NEW Hearing Required

As an arbitrator you have decided that another hearing is required to make a decision. You MUST ensure you DO NOT upload a document first. If you do, the provincial administrator will receive notification that this hearing process is complete and requires their review.

To notify the provincial administrator they need to schedule another hearing:

  • Wait until the day after the hearing was scheduled
  • Select the Folder

  • Unordered List Item

Eligibility Decision Overdue

If the decision has not been received within 14 days, the system will consider the Eligibility Decision Overdue.
