Claim Sent to OEM

A consumer has now submitted a claim form and a claim form has been reviewed by a provincial administrator (PA) and sent it to you the manufacturer for your review.

  • Select the claim number
  • Review the claim form and attached documentation. You are unable to make any changes

There are 2 options for handling the claim form, select the appropriate one:

Approve/Deny Claim Eligibility

  • Deny Claim Eligibility:You have reviewed all the information and decided the claim is not eligible. A PA will review your decision
  • ARLENE TO UPDATE
    • A automated letter will be sent to X, X, and X.
    • A manual letter should be sent to X, X, and X.
  • END UPDATE
  • Approve Claim Eligibility: You have reviewed all the information and feel that an arbitration hearing is necessary. If the Consumer has requested a Buy-Back, you will need to provide your own calculations. You will also need to provide your supporting documents and who will be attending the hearing right away. PA will review your decision
  • ARLENE TO UPDATE
    • A automated letter will be sent to X, X, and X.
    • A manual letter should be sent to X, X, and X.
  • END UPDATE

NOTE: You will notice that there is a new button showing up Hearing Defence. Use this button to provide any notes or documents that support your case

Claim No OEM Response

If you do not provide a response within 10 business days, the qualification worksheet will be considered overdue and the claim status will be set to Claim no OEM Response.
