Users & Roles

Users of the system are consumers, provincial administrators, arbitrators and manufacturers (OEM). Each of them will have a user account created for them. This allows them to access the system and the areas appropriate to their role.

Create a New User

To create a new user select Create and a form will pop up.

Input Information

Using the collection form, you will insert the status, preferred language, login, name, email and whether they are an admin or not.

  1. Ensure the box is checked off for active users Activate
  2. Use the pull down menu to select the users preferred language Language
  3. Create a login name, using the user`s firstnamelastname Login
  4. Provide the users email
  5. Type in the name of the user
  6. Check off the admin box for users who require administrative access to the system Admin

View, Edit or Delete a User

View

When you want to review the details of a user but do not want to make any changes to their information, use the view button on the main User screen. You will be shown a summary of the information collected and assigned.

Edit

When additional contact information is required and/or needs to be updated, select the edit button on the main User screen. Follow the above mentioned directions for inputting information in order to make any changes.

Delete

In some cases you will need to delete a user. Use the delete button on the main User screen. You will be asked to confirm the operation.
