====== Claim Sent to Manufacturer ====== A consumer has now submitted a claim form and a claim form has been reviewed by a provincial administrator (PA) and sent it to the manufacturer for review. {{::claim_to_oem_dashboard_top.png|}} {{::claim_to_oem_dashboard.png|}} * Select the **claim number** to view the claim for package. * The manufacturer will review the claim form and attached documentation. No changes can be made to the claim form. There are 2 options for handling the claim form, the manufacturer will select the appropriate one: {{::approve_deny_claim_eligibility.png|Approve/Deny Claim Eligibility}} * [[Deny Claim Eligibility]]:The manufacturer has reviewed all the information and decided the claim is not eligible. The PA will review the decision returned by the manufacturer. * An automated letter will be sent to the provincial administrator informing them that the manufacturer has returned the claim form. * [[Hearing Defence|Approve Claim Eligibility]]: The manufacturer has reviewed all the information and agrees that an arbitration hearing is necessary. If the Consumer has requested a Buy-Back, the manufacturer will need to provide its own calculations. The manufacturer will also need to provide their hearing defence and a list of hearing attendees. The PA will review the decision returned by the manufacturer. * An automated letter will be sent to the provincial administrator informing them that the manufacturer has returned the claim form. **NOTE**: You will notice that there is a new button showing up [[Hearing Defence]].
